About DR Crowe: (and his speaking schedue)Dr. Crowe received his DVM from Iowa State University in 1972 and board certification by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 1980. He held office as VECCS President from 1985 – 1987 and was one of the founding members of ACVECC Care, which was officially recognized as a specialty college in 1989. He was cited for his innovation in trauma management and total commitment to the specialty. VECCS presented the Ira M. Zaslow Distinguished Service Award, its highest award resulting from his contributions as one of the leaders in the development of the VECCS and ACVECC.
Dr. D. Tim Crowe, Jr, DVM, DACVS, DACVECC, EMT-II, GCFF is the current Interim Chief of Staff at PET EMERGENCY CLINICS in Thousand Oaks, CA and Ventura, CA.
As well, Dr. Crowe currently is a surgeon and critical care specialist at All Pets Emergency and Referral Center in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Dr. Dennis "Tim" Crowe was a partner and Chief of Surgery at the Veterinary Institute of Trauma, Emergency and Critical Care and was the Director of Research at the Animal Emergency Center and Referral Services in Milwaukee, WI (1991-1997). He had been a staff surgeon and director of an emergency and critical care residency program at Carson-Tahoe Veterinary Hospital; surgeon and director of a surgical residency program at Carson-Tahoe Veterinary Hospital; and surgeon and chief of emergency/critical care services (part-time) at Georgia Veterinary Specialties.
Dr. Crowe is the author of over 500 publications on emergency and critical care topics; is an inventor and developer of many procedures used in the field of emergency and critical care medicine and surgery. Dr. Crowe is acclaimed worldwide as a leader in emergency
